POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to ShimaHR’s Country Human Capital Lead in South Sudan, the Incumbent shall join our team of
experienced consultants and will be charged with the responsibility of providing general HR support services in
Payroll Administration, Benefits Administration, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, Performance
Management, Onboarding, Policy Implementation, Sourcing & Recruitment, Employment Law Compliance and
administering the Human Resources Management System (HRMIS).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist in Sourcing & Recruitment of Staff, Preparation of Job Descriptions, posting vacancies, interviews,
      reference checks, orientation and handles exit procedures for separated staff
    • Partners with our Clients employees and management to communicate various human resources policies,
      procedures, laws, standards and employment regulations.
    • Give support to the teams preparing and processing monthly payrolls; review and ensure accuracy of
      approved timesheets; track and deduct all statutory deductions and other payroll deductions.
    • Ensure employee leave details are accurately captured in the HR System
    • Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all Clients personnel within prescribed
      interpretive guidelines.
    • Assists with ongoing maintenance of personnel files and records retention policies and procedures.
    • Coordinates employee relations issues such as employee complaints and grievance handling
    • Performance Management, Target Setting, periodic performance reviews etc
    • Views and produces reports, and/or maintains Human Resources Information System records.
      The above duties and responsibilities are not exhaustive and the role holder will be required to carry out additional
      duties within reasonableness of their levels of skills and experience

REQUIREMENTS

    •  Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in HRM and/or other related fields
    • 2 – 3 years demonstrable experience working in a busy Human Resource environment
    • Experience in Business Proposal and report writing is highly desired
    • Proficiency in Ms Excel, Word and power point presentation
    • Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills
